We get to know each other
Together we clarify whether there is a well-founded suspicion of ADHD and whether the further appointments make sense. To do this, we talk about your current difficulties, your everyday life, work and relationships, and your history.

The assessment itself
Validated questionnaires
Objectively assessing concentration, impulsivity, restlessness and executive functions.
Structured interviews
With you and, where appropriate, with family members, for a complete picture.
A look back at childhood
ADHD begins in childhood, so we look back, for example at school reports.
Ruling out other causes
For example depression, anxiety or sleep problems. We agree on any additional tests beforehand.

Results and next steps
You get clear feedback on whether the criteria for ADHD are met, and room for all your questions. Together we discuss what helps you now: therapy, a group or concrete strategies for your everyday life.
What does the assessment cost?
Billed according to the GOP. Private health insurance and Beihilfe usually cover the costs; self-payers are welcome. We always discuss possible extra costs, for example for further tests, beforehand.
